KaraFun karaoke

Hy guys, i use ubuntu 9.04 amd64 nvidia geforce 8200 and when i install karafun 1.1.8 with wine 1.1.28 i have problems with one ole component the error is:

karafun runs, but there is no sound and in playng mode it play only few seconds.
karafun /editor is able to load and save all kinds of music but not to play etc..

Can someone help me?

Try Crossover Linux ? KF uses a lot of DirectX so i don't know how you'll go ?
Also try video option on minimal.

crossover is not a "free software" (and i didn't know it );
a friend of mine tell me that there is an "application" regsrv32.exe that do the registration of the component but i have to know wath is it.
I try also to install vb6 runtime and dotnet 2.0 rntime but nothing appear.
Am i so stupid? or the problem is real?

I already used pykaraoke for playng, but for editing there is nothing (at least i don't know) under linux and karafun is very very interesting in this matter.
yesterday i tried to install directx directly from microsoft page but there is new problems, i'm in your hands!
