After I convert a ".kfn" to ".avi/.wmv", When I play it on Windows Media Player, the Lyrics are behind. But when I choose a lower quality video format, everything seems to be fine. =/ I really want the High Quality formats and I want to know if there is a solution for this..

I'm thinking it may be because my computer is about 4 years old and I do not have the latest drivers and such.

Operating System: Windows XP
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) M Processor 1.30 GHz
Memory: 1246MB RAM/1.21GB RAM

I think I had the same problem.

I converted the .kfn to .wmv with a resolution of 1024x678 and a very high quality. These videos were out of sync and were "stuttering". I think it had something to do with the video codec and/or with the hoster I'm using (Tricerasoft Swift Elite 4.0).
After I changed the output resolution to 640x480 (still with very high quality 6144 kbps) there were no problems.

Videos with this resolution are absolutely sufficient for my shows.


As for the drivers and video codecs: try K-Lite Mega Codec Pac (search by Google for it)! There you have all the codecs (divx, xvid, mov, mkv, H.264, etc.) you need to play every video format which exists.

Now that I got over this problem, there is one more thing that bothers me..

The audio quality.. The video quality looks fine. Readable, not great nor bad. --It's good.

However, The audio seems rather "grainy" and very, for the lack of words, painful to listen to. >-<

Any solution for this one?

Did you select the audio quality when converting?

You can also choose from different bitrates in the drop-down field below the video quality.

Maybe if you select "44100Hz stereo 128kbps" or "160 kbps"? I always convert with 160 or 192.

But: if you have a bad audio source or a low MP3 bitrate like 96 or 80 kbps then a conversion to higher bitrates won't help you much.
