KaraFun karaoke

I wish I could be able to view two simultaneous lines of text underneath (and physically next to) each other while the song is running. The purpose is to have text and chords at the same time during the progression of the song. That would be very helpful for musicians who for instance play the guitar alongside the Karaoke text and need to not only see the lyrics but the chords too.

The function should look something like this: A checkbox that would read: "check to treat two consecutive lines of text as one"

Or is this already possible and I just haven't found it?! Any hints from other users perhaps?

Yes of course I do, danke Stefan. But anyway in the meantime I have purchased the Studio Version of KaraFun which gives me the above requested ability. However it is not straight forward. The two simultaneous lines go out of proprtion in the course of the song i.e. the distance between the two lines (one for text, one for chords) varies throughout the song and sometimes makes it hard to read.

So that is my new question: How can I adjust the settings so that the two text lines distance to each other remains steady. Anyway I would like to talk to you Stefan, in German of course. Thanks mate!

I have the studio version and still cannot work out how to do this in the editor.

Basically you would have to add a 2nd layer of text (either vertical text or classic karaoke text), set a different vertical offset (so there is a space between the to lines of text) and then synchronize each layer of text.

But: we found out that it isn't quite easy with vertical text to keep up a constant distance between the two text tracks.

@ sgianthebard: what exactly do you want? Putting two lines of classic karaoke text one below the other? If yes then this is easy and I can help you out. For vertical text it will be difficult as written abobe.
