I am quite impressed with the free product, as it stands it resolves several major issues I have been having with using live audio backing tracks. But the extra tracks, if they behave as I hope, will really enable me to create some great music.
Questions:
1: Can I create all these tracks in my studio beforehand and sync or somehow bundle them with the original audio track? What I want to do is have a separate track for bass and another for drums, so if I'm playing a trio gig, the tracks are just horns, backup vocals and click reference, but if I'm playing as a duo, I can add the bass or drums I'm missing, and as solo I just add them both.
2: If I do this, will all the tracks change pitch with the main track? Can I can I change pitch on just one of the tracks and leave another (drums) unchanged?
3: If I have set up a playlist and then mute say, the background vocal track, will the next song also have that track muted, or will I need to set it up for each song?
Please, someone with knowledge elp me out here, I am happy to buy software that does what i need, but I have spent so many thousands of dollars (back when they were real money...) on software that works fine but is not right for my needs, that I always ask first.
Thanks for any help.
