So basically, I want the video to start with about 3 or 4 lines, and as the song moves on, the lines gradually will disappear and replaced with new lines from top to bottom, but I don't want them to actually move at all. Any idea how I can do this?

Use "classic karaoke" text instead of "vertical text"!

As you said in the other topic you are using the freeware version. So I don't know if you can select "classic karaoke text" instead of "vertical text".

Normally you would have to right-click on the field left to the syncs and choose "add" --> "classic karaoke".

Buf if you are not able to do.....
