How to remove the singer voice?
If you work with original song, the original singer voice can quickly become annoying...
Unfortunately, there is no magic wand to suppress the vocal part of a song.
Since v0.90, we added a real-time "vocal reducer" to KaraFun. Sometimes, it gives very good results but the instrumental part is often sufferring.
For a decent karaoke party, you should buy proper backing tracks!

sorry guys that is good answer but I have to add too it.
so here is the simple and non made up fact that every recording engineer out there knows.
every song that has been made since the mid to late 1970's and used surround sound. is not going to be able to get rid of the voice.
the only ones you can really get rid of the voice on are the songs that were recorded in stereo with the singers being recorded on one channel either left or right. some later stereo songs were also trying to get better sound and have the lead singer on one channel and the backup singers on the other channel making them just like the surround sound ones as in you can not remove the singers from them.
the ones you record your self of your own band that you have if you made them just the stereo with you on the left or right channel and the music on the oppisate side your voice is then you can remove your voice.
if you want to get a program for that stereo type of song the one in karafun i think will work but if you are just not use to it and want to use winamp then go to www.analogx.com and get his vocal remover program from his site. it is the best one for winamp users.
but like i said there is not any simple free way of getting rid of singers on songs.
you will have to buy a huge sound box from some studio supply store that will use lots of software and other hardware to stripe the voice out of the songs. but it is not worth it as you will get in trouble from the riaa when they hear the band as it is able to be heard that it is the orginal band and not yours.
